I joined Carnival on February 5th, 2023, and it’s been a Great experience. First time working on cruise, adjusting was easy for me as I always loved traveling. It feels like home having a brother working for the same company for the past 7 years so that was a big part that attracted me, and the money is good. The beauty of working with family whilst traveling the world together is thrilling and can’t think of any another career opportunity that gives such a good balance. What inspired me to join Carnival is the passion I have for cooking and my love for food.

I was thinking it was a good opportunity to join a cruise ship. A lot of my friends were talking really highly about the Carnival Family. If you have a passion of electrical work, Carnival is going to give you really good tools to increase your knowledge, to gain a lot of experience in automation, electrical and electronic stuff. As a galley attendant you work in the galley, so we do a lot of cleaning, plates, cups everything! We recognise the value in having people with a variety of backgrounds, experience and skills in our business.
From the moment guests board, we need vacation heroes who will help them with any questions or issues that may arise. Our Guest Services Team's enthusiasm and positive attitude mean they are the frontline ambassadors of fun. Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry-level) to CUK1 (Brand President). This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, a minimum of 3 days per week.
